Who are we?

An assortment of Christians from the Charnwood Forest area of Leicestershire, England. We are from a number of different church types ("Denominations") though some have no particular Church affiliation. Some have been Christians for many years while others have just started to explore the teachings of Christ. Our meetings, which are informal, include prayer and study of the Bible with discussions about our faith and how it informs our daily lives.

We have no written constitution and no explicit geographical limits!

Spring Course "Philippians (Living for the sake of the Gospel)" by John Houghton

Paul's joyful letter to his friends in the church at Philippi was written from prison in Rome, yet is infused with energy, hope and encouragement. In one of the clearest statements of his bold faith, unshakeable trust and radiant love for Christ, Paul instructs the Philippians (and believers everywhere) in the practicalities of living joyfully, prayerfully and contentedly - whatever their circumstances in life. Let the truths of Paul's words to the Philippians transform your walk with God.

Summer Course "Galatians (Freedom in Christ)"by John Houghton

Paul's letter to the Galatians is the Magna Carta of religious freedom. It is a powerful and passionate rejection of all religions that depend on rule keeping, ritual and regulation for their efficacy. Salvation is through faith in Christ alone, without any additional help from us or anyone else. Faith in Christ makes us right with God and assures us of eternal life.
